Country Kennel was started in the Spring of 1998. It began as a small, part time grooming business out of our home, and has since then expanded into a full scale, full time, grooming and boarding facility. I am a third generation "dog lady". My grandmother taught my mother how to groom in the early 70's -  and then 25 years later she taught me!   My grandmother still has a grooming/boarding facility in Wrightsville, Georgia.  It is called Cotton Patch Kennel, and she breeds some of the prettiest Red Toy Poodles that I have ever seen! She has been a "dog lady" for 40 years now!  She does a great job, and I value her advice and wisdom.  I am so blessed to have two such important people in my life to advise me about my career - my mother and my grandmother.  They have always been there for me and taught me so much.


At Country Kennel, we treat your pet as if it was our own. We love what we do, and it shows!  We have quite a few "regulars", who just love it here.  They look forward to coming - and feel like a million bucks when they leave!

In addition to grooming and boarding, we also breed several small breeds of dogs, including the Toy Poodle, Chihuahua, Miniature Schnauzer, and Pomeranian.
